Henry’s Campsite

Henry’s Campsite is the most southerly in Britain being situated at the bottom of Lizard Point. Just a couple of minutes from Lizard village and 10 minutes to Lizard Point it is the perfect spot to explore the rugged and stunning coast around the Lizard. Just a short walk away to the west is Kynance Cove, one of the jewels of the Cornish coast.

Most of the pitches at Henry’s Campsite have sea views and each is different with different plants and features depending on what pitch you have.

Beacon Cottage Farms, St. Agnes

The campsite at Beacon Cottage Farms has some of the biggest panoramic views across the north coast of any campsite in Cornwall.

Situated at the top of St. Agnes beacon the clifftop position of the campsite has some of the most impressive views of the rugged coastline available, it does mean though it can get a bit blowy in rougher weather. That is of course what camping is all about though isn’t it?

There are 70 pitches at Beacon Cottage Farm and whilst the view is breathtaking there are some pitches set back surrounded with trees for a bit more shelter from the elements. The site is also a short 20 minute walk to St. Agnes and nearby Trevaunance Cove.

01872 552347 Pitch per night (including 2 people, 1 car and 1 tent, caravan or motor home) between £18 – £25.50, Back packers per person per night £9. http://www.beaconcottagefarmholidays.co.uk/Campsite/tariffs.html

Gwithian Farm Campsite

Just a few short minutes walk from Gwithian Beach the campsite at Gwithian Farm caters for all, whether you are camping, caravanning or motorhoming. 7 miles from St. Ives means one day you’ll be surfing and sunning yourself at the beach and the next you can explore the town and shops. The campsite itself is situated in Gwithian village close to the Red River Pub serving great food and ales all year round. St. Ives is also a short drive away at the other end of St. Ives Bay. you’ll be able to see it from Gwithian Beach.

01736 753127 Pitch price per night including two people, car and unit with or without awning between £16 – £27.

Treen Farm Campsite

This small campsite is set 200 yards back from the edge of Treen Cliff with stunning coastal views. Porthcurno beach is around 10 minutes walk from Treen Farm and is one of the most beautiful beaches in Cornwall. If you get the chance during your visit try and catch a show at the open air Minack Theatre at Porthcurno for a truly memorable holiday moment.

Tariffs start at £7 per adult in a tent, for more information on tariffs and contact details check the website.

Dennis Farm Campsite

Of all of the Cornish campsites here Dennis Farm Campsite may be the smallest but it is also the most idyllic. The campsite is for tents only and there is only 24 pitches but the pitches afford some of the most stunning views across the Camel Estuary. If you are looking for a campsite close to the coast Dennis Farm is one of my top choices. The harbour town of Padstow is just 10 minutes walk along a footpath along the Estuary.

Tariffs start between £23-£26 for a car, tent and 2 persons for more information on tariffs and contact details check the website.
